Cynthia M. Braden, Marriage Family Therapist
Mrs. Braden originated the Spanish for Mental Health Professionals Programs in 2009 to help colleagues overcome barriers and improve confidence in treating Spanish speaking clients. She is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist who has been working with Spanish speaking clients since 1997 in Social Service Agencies, Wraparound, K-12 School, Head Start Pre-Schools, and Private Practice. She began studying Spanish in 7th grade, and continued with Spanish as a Minor throughout her undergraduate years at Ohio University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Ohio University, where she was an exchange student in Mérida, Yúcatan, Mexico. Her Master's degree is in Counseling Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. She enjoys helping colleagues overcome barriers and improve improve confidence in treating clients in Spanish.
