I’m afraid my Spanish isn’t good enough...
We don’t pressure anyone and work with each student at his or her level of Spanish and theoretical orientation. It will be necessary to study and work hard if you really want to become fluent. Who should participate in these workshops?
Will this program really help me improve my clinical Spanish? Yes. If you study and practice and stick with it, your clinical Spanish will definitely improve. This program is no magic pill though, you're going to have to make it your intention and dedicate time and energy to it. The great thing about Spanish for Mental Health Professionals in particular is that it is developed over fifteen years by a psychotherapist, specifically for practical application in the therapeutic environment. You can take other Spanish lessons, but do you really want to be wasting your time and money learning Dónde está la catedral? or Me puede llamar un taxi por favor?, hoping that maybe you'll grab enough vocabulary to conduct therapy in Spanish? |
Where and when are the workshops held?
Monthly on Mondays 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. in Manhattan Beach, California. Other workshops are held from the comfort of your home or office via Google Hangout How many therapists are in the Monday workshops? Usually no more than eight participants in the live workshop, and one or two teachers. Can you help our agency with a customized curriculum for our specific protocol? Yes! Send us an e-mail to get started. |
