Cynthia M. Braden, MA, MFT, Facilitator
Bienvenidos. Necesitamos hablar español con nuestros clientes, verdad?

Here's what recent participants said about the Spanish for Therapists groups:

"The group was both informative and supportive. I feel more prepared to conduct assessments and treatment in Spanish in terms of both vocabulary and cultural sensitivity. Cynthia was flexible and attentive to our needs and desires. I am so grateful for the experience." Jody E. Brandt, Ph.D.

"The benefits of this class are multi-faceted. It helped me learn the clinical vocabulary and common phrases that I needed to know to be an effective Spanish speaking therapist and really helped me build confidence in my ability to provide psychotherapy in Spanish. I do family therapy with 10 mono-lingual Spanish speaking families per week now, and I couldn't have done that prior to this class."
E. Anderson, MFTI

"Amazing interactive training for working professionals." Richard Oelberger, Ph.D.

"This is a much needed class for psychotherapists to enhance their Spanish skills for a variety of populations. I truly enjoyed the guest speaker we had... not to be missed!" Dr. Lili Wagner, Licensed Psychologist specializing in geropsychology

"Spanish for Therapists allows you to extend your knowledge of vocabulary, verbs and Latino culture in regards to mental health while in a supportive environment."
Jenine Arenas, MFTI, USC class of 2010, Aviva Family Services

"Cynthia is a culturally sensitive, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. Through the class I was able to learn clinically relevant language to use with clients and increase my confidence in Spanish, culminating in attaining a bilingual position."
Beth Oelberger, Bilingual Therapist, Foothill Family Service
