Therapist-client dialogue in an Assessment session. Includes: introductory therapist statements to this Assessment session; therapist asks questions about child's adjustment in various domains with focus on school adjustment and behavior; parent provides reports about child's adjustment; therapist provides normalizing statements; parent vocabulary describing child's friends; parent tells therapist strategies he uses to try control the child.
Therapist and Client talk about child's activities when he comes home from school; client complaints about child's behavior; therapist asks assessment questions regarding the child's behavior and mood; therapist asks about specific precipitating factors and risk factors; therapist provides normalizing and encouraging statements; therapist gives Consejos for ways parent can provide positive reinforcement for desired behavior; school activities vocabulary; therapist gets lost and asks for repetition; statements to close session.
